I have thought about this for a very long time, with the help from my family now the time has come-here it is:
Admittedly the first prototypes were really in need of improvement-but now I am for the first time really happy with the result.
The whole concept and idea behind these Kots I have protected and Registered so no one uses it for commercial gains or misuse. Therefore I add this Statement:- PROTECTED UNDER REGISTRATION NR. :- 1137-100 403 -1799785069 bei http. www.notatus.de. Also, I wish to add that I do not make any financial gain, profit etc. You can if you wish order a LilacKnot for 2.30Euro plus Postage and packing. (My little helpers do not profit) Especially I would like to thank my parents, who have with all their strength supported me and paid for the first lot of Materials I needed to get started.
MY EXPLANATION AND THOUGHTS:
The LilacKnot is a symbol for the illness ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease or Motor Neuron Disease) and other Motor neuronen illnesses. The Knot symbolises TOGETHERNESS and the "8" the endlessness!!
It should be a symbol of solidarity. The KNOT is for the hopelessness in Research (not enough sufferers)!!! Whoever wears the Lilac Knot sympathises with the sufferers and the relatives,or, he has ALS (Lou Gehrig or Motor Neuron disease) himself. It should make people notice the helplessness of the relatives who everywhere in the world are suffering and go on suffering after the death of the loved one. The KNOT is for the loss, grief , sorrow, pain ,fear, illness,,togetherness, hope. etc . The illness should become known by the public. It should be made known that more should be done for Research, more should be done to help the sufferers and the relatives. In the Middle Ages ,for the Christians the number "8" symbolised Luck,Christening and Resurrection.
